Terms of Service

Clear terms that keep projects predictable.

These terms explain how we scope, deliver, and support bilingual software engagements with Aiven AI.

Effective from: 22 May 2024

Engagement scope

Every project begins with a mutually approved scope document that outlines deliverables, timelines, responsibilities, and acceptance criteria.

Changes requested after sign-off are handled through a rapid change request review so we can protect schedules while staying responsive.

Commercial terms

Invoices follow the schedule defined in your proposal (typically 40% kickoff, 40% mid-project, 20% launch).

Payments can be settled via bank transfer in EGP, SAR, or USD. Late payments may pause delivery until balances are cleared.

Delivery cadence

We work in 7–15 day sprints. You receive status updates twice per week and demos at each major milestone.

Delays caused by missing inputs or approvals may shift target dates; we will flag and renegotiate timelines collaboratively.

Confidentiality & security

Both parties agree to keep shared information confidential and to use it only for the purpose of fulfilling the engagement.

We implement industry-standard security controls (CSP, HSTS, origin isolation, access reviews) to safeguard shared assets.

Intellectual property

Upon final payment, full ownership of deliverables—source code, documentation, designs—transfers to you unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We retain the right to reuse general know-how and non-client-specific tooling developed during delivery.

Support & contact

Each build includes a warranty window (7–15 days) for bug fixes. Extended SLA options are available as add-ons.
